III. ISTANBUL INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL – MASTERCLASS

Application Requirements

To apply, please submit the following:

Application Form:

• Short Biography
• Repertoire choice for the masterclass (latest version)
• Video recording (maximum 10 minutes)

The application deadline is August 7, 2023. (11.59 pm)

Masterclass application and participation is free of charge. After the evaluation process, applicants will be notified via email about their active or passive admission to the masterclass, along with other details.

General Information:

• Applicants must be conservatory students or graduates, aged 15 or above.
• Each masterclass will accommodate a maximum of 7 active participants.
• Active participants will receive a total of 3 lessons, with one hour per day.
• All lessons will be open to the public.
• Participants can use the practice rooms in the venue free of charge, subject to availability (equipped with a piano for pianists).
• A closing concert and certificate ceremony will be held at the end of each masterclass, featuring performances by all active participants.
• Participants are responsible for organizing their own travel and accommodation, arriving one day before the masterclass begins and departing one day after it ends.

• Cello: Prof. Gary Hoffman: September 5 – 8, 2023
• Flute: Prof. Mathilde Calderini: September 9 – 12, 2023
• Oboe: Prof. Gregor Witt: September 13 – 15, 2023
